Carns Bastús is a family business dedicated to the world of meat for over seventy years. Its location is La Pobla de Segur, Pallars Jussà in the Catalan Pyrenees.
Carns Bastús was born in 1948 with the return from exile of our godfather Josep. During the years he was living in France he learned the trade in a small butcher shop in Neuvy Saint Sepulcre and immediately fell in love with it. This led him, on his return to La Pobla, to decide to set aside the family business of tailoring and to open his own butcher's shop in the center of the village.
Then, in 1999, our father Josep grew the Carns Bastús butcher’s shop, adding a cutting room so that he could serve the restaurateurs of the Pyrenees, always following with the same dedication and professionalism.
Today, we lead the company with two of his sons, Eduard and Cesc. Our vision is to be a benchmark in the meat industry, and continue to help our customers enjoy the best fresh meat and the best processed meats, without losing the essence of our origins with a high quality product and totally artisanal.
